When will my order ship?

Most orders ship within 3-5 business days, unless otherwise noted of a backorder. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

How much is shipping?

We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders of $150+.

How long does shipping take?

Domestic orders typically arrive within 3-5 business day from the date shipped.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time. We’re currently focused on delivering a reliable and consistent experience within the United States.

We do plan to expand internationally in the future. If you’re outside the U.S., we’d love for you to join our waitlist so we can let you know when we do.

What is TPD jewelry made of?

Each piece is crafted from solid .925 sterling silver, with select pieces finished in a thick layer of 14k gold vermeil. We chose these materials for their durability, weight, and ability to be worn for years to come.

Will the jewelry tarnish or turn my skin green?

Our pieces are made from solid sterling silver and high-quality finishes designed to last. Like all real silver, they may naturally develop a slight patina over time. This is a normal characteristic of the metal, not a flaw, and can be easily restored with a silver polishing cloth.

We do not use cheap base metals that flake or discolor the skin.

What is gold vermeil?

Gold vermeil is a thick layer of 14k gold over a base of solid 925 sterling silver.

Unlike standard gold-plated jewelry, which uses a very thin layer of gold over cheaper metals like brass or steel, vermeil has more depth, weight, and longevity. It’s designed to wear more like fine jewelry, both in how it feels and how it holds up over time.

Where is TPD jewelry made?

Each piece begins in the founder’s home studio in Denver, Colorado, where every design is imagined by someone who understands the depth of love we have for our dogs.

From there, it is brought to life by skilled artisans across Egypt, Thailand, and the United States. Our partners bring decades of experience in fine jewelry, and every step is handled with care to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and quality.

How do I care for my TPD jewelry?

To keep your piece looking its best, we recommend avoiding contact with water, perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals whenever possible.

For sterling silver pieces, wipe each piece after use and store them in a closed container. You can gently clean and restore shine using the soft cloth included with your order, a silver polishing cloth, or a silver polishing cream.

Gold vermeil pieces require a lighter touch. Avoid polishing them, as this can gradually wear down the gold layer.

With the right care, your piece is meant to be worn and kept for years to come.

Can I wear my TPD jewelry everyday?

Yes. Our pieces are designed for everyday wear.

Sterling silver and gold vermeil are durable materials, but like all fine jewelry, they do best with a bit of care. Removing your piece before showering or exercising will help preserve its finish over time.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

You may request a return within 10 days of receiving your order.

To initiate a return, email us at support@thepreciousdog.com with your order number and reason for return. Please include a photo if returning due to damage or defect.

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. We are unable to accept returns on pieces that show signs of wear or damage.

The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your final refund.

Do you offer a warranty?

We offer a one-year craftsmanship warranty covering manufacturing defects.

This includes issues such as broken clasps, loose or detached components, or structural faults that occur under normal use.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including tarnishing, scratches, or damage from improper care, as these are natural characteristics of fine jewelry over time.

If you believe your piece has a defect, please contact us at support@thepreciousdog.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue, and we’ll take a look.

Why did you start with these specific breeds?

Every breed carries a different kind of presence, and for many people, that becomes part of who they are.

We started with a small group so each piece could be designed with intention and care, shaped by the people who love them. This is just the beginning. More breeds will come.

Will you add more breeds?

Yes. We’ll continue expanding the collection over time.

Each piece is carefully designed and sculpted, so new breeds will be introduced gradually.

We also know that many of the dogs we love most are mixed. That matters to us. We’re exploring ways to honor them in a way that feels just as thoughtful and true, rather than rushed or generic.

Can I request my dog's breed?

Yes, absolutely.

If there’s a breed that means something to you, we’d love to hear it. You can submit your request through our contact page.

We take these requests seriously and use them to shape how we capture the essence of each breed we create.
